GDG Cloud Manila, a local community of developers that follow up-and-coming technology and tools, trends, and developments from Google, hosted their Google Next 2018 Extended meetup at Loft Spaces’ Penthouse 1. For this event, GDG held a series of talks to update and educate regarding TensorFlow as an open-source machine learning platform, continuous integration on a shoestring budget, using Google BigQuery in democratizing data, and utilizing Google Cloud machine learning in managing inventory.

Every few months, members of GDG Cloud Manila, and other organizations following the Google Developer Group platform, meet up and hold events to stay up-to-date with new technology being developed by and for Google. GDG Cloud Manila is one of many groups under GDG Philippines. This platform from the trusted brand enables tech enthusiasts to establish communities, allowing them to keep in touch with other experts in their field, and pore over Google’s open-source data. It’s a great way to get to know people in the industry, and collaborate in developing brand-new tech.

The meetup for the Google Next 2018 Extended event took place at the North, a Loft space perfect for assemblies, seminars, talks, and workshops with its stadium-type seating, creative lounge space, and a large-screen TV ready for presentations.
